PLEASE NOTE: 'PARKWOOD' is NOT available in 2011 - sorry!
Keith and Christine Rusling invite you to holiday at 'Parkwood', just outside Wadebridge, north Cornwall.

Sleeping 4 - 5 , the accommodation has two double bedrooms (one with twin beds) and a single room: on the ground floor there is a large lounge and dining room and well-equipped kitchen. It's the left-hand side of the house in the picture above. Parkwood enjoys a quiet location with magnificent views over surrounding countryside. We are ideally placed for those with an interest in wildlife or birdwatching or who simply want to relax and get away from it all. Wadebridge town is half a mile away with a full range of shops, restaurants and pubs: the Camel Trail runs through the town from Bodmin to Padstow. With cycle hire in Wadebridge, sailing in Rock and surfing at Polzeath you are ideally placed to enjoy many of north Cornwall's attractions. The Royal Cornwall Showground is less than a mile away and the Royal Cornwall Show takes place early in June. Cornwall's famous beaches are within easy reach. Further afield there is Lanhydrock House (6 miles) and the Eden Project (13 miles) or you may wish to take in a concert at the music festivals at St. Endellion or St. Columb. Whatever your taste you will find plenty to do come rain or shine! Please note that, owing to our hillside location, disabled access is difficult. Parkwood is approached by a long, quite steep drive with parking space for just one car at the top. If you prefer you may leave your car in the layby on the public road and access the house itself on foot. The view from the house compensates for this, we believe! |
